These folks are the best! I showed up with a difficult seat swap situation that other shops had refused to touch. The folds at Griffin went more than the extra mile, with a consistently great attitude, and a great deal of patience. They understood that I was trying to change seats for orthopedic reasons (right knee pain), so they took me seriously. They even got on the phone and consulted with colleagues. Eventually, they solved my problem at a VERY reasonable price. May be the best auto shop of any kind I have ever worked with. Special thanks to Stefan and Chris. Telephonic and e-mail communication, in this age where people do not call back or answer e-mails, was outstanding as well.

I had built a list of 4-5 slightly problematic items, including odd, herky-jerky acceleration, from low speed, and possibly a dying battery. In less than a full day, my 10 year old car was completely running like new, with all problems addressed and solved. The problems were clearly discussed, and were typical of my vehicle and it's mileage, and the 4-5 "fixes" ending up costing less than I expected.

Service was performed on time in a professional manner. Gino kept in contact as to the progress which was appreciated. Slight hiccup in the estimate, but everything resolved fine.

Went to Griffin for an alignment, installation of adjustable upper control arms, and outer tie rod ends. Ended up taking a day longer than they told me, but they comped me for the extra day in the rental car. A very minor thing that irked me a bit was that they set the alignment according to "their" specs. I did not specify OEM, but I assumed that was the case since they didn't mention that they would be deviating from OEM. As I don't track the car every day, I can't really tell a difference (especially with a different set of tires and other suspension changes made concurrently), but would have been nice for them to make it clear up front that they would be using in-house alignment specs. Great job overall, except for the very very minor issues mentioned.
