Everything was great. Except, the technician missed the nail in my front passenger-side tire. Not a big deal since it was a slow leak.

I brought in an Audi S4 that I was thinking about buying for a pre-purchase inspection. The guys got me in on really short notice and completed the inspection quickly. The car turned out to be in great shape and I ended up purchasing it. This will probably be my go-to shop from now on when I need work done on my Audi, even though I don't that close. It will be worth the 30-40 minute drive to get such great service from an honest straight forward place like Griffin.

This is one of the best VW/Audi shops in the Bay area. No matter what the issue is, they work hard to carefully diagnose your issue and always strive to solve it in the most economical manner possible. With my 2014 Audi Allroad, the rear view mirror failed. A trivial issue, but important at the same time. Was given three options - repair the existing one, buy a factory replaceement one, or get an after-market one. They tried option 1 for a minimal amount of time, then moved on to option 3. The part they got was perfect, they further cleaned it up, and had my back on the road 30 minutes after the part arrived. They accepted my appointment fast, communication was timely and detailed and they fixed my coolant leak and radiator fan for a reasonable price. Nothing but solid service across the board. I've found my local VW shop for sure and would recommend anyone with a German motor to give them a visit.

Griffin teamwork led by Curly did an amazing job on my 1987 Volvo station wagon succeeding at two jobs (1) fixing the brakes and all associated parts replacing items even 30 years old, (2) taking apart the driver door replacing parts needed to roll up the window and aligning the computerized panel in the door. You will truly be impressed if you see the degree of difficulty many other shops ignored over the years, but Griffin came through and tackled this job with dedication to do the job correctly and completely. The springs that caused the car to sag were also replaced thus making the car drive and look entirely differently. Thanks a million to all the employees at Griffin for such excellent results. My car's wiring caught fire on a weekend and though Griffin is not normally open on weekends, Terry was there to welcome me arriving with a tow truck delivering my 1987 Volvo wagon. The car is now completely fixed and looks like a new car. Both Curly and Terry were updating me on details of the repair while carefully researching the many aspects a fire can affect the wiring under the dashboard of a car. Final repairs exceeded my expectations once I picked up the car this week, as both the front end wiring burnt in the fire, as well as the tail lights which had been rain damaged are now completely working with new lens covers. Attention to detail and difficulty of this task proves that the Griffin team as well as Curly and Terry, can tackle any car or any difficult car problem.
